Our story
A flavour that tells the story of Palestine.
Sumac was born in the heart of Ramallah from a passion for reviving authentic Palestinian cuisine and serving it with a contemporary soul at a warm table.
Est. 2014It started in the family kitchen, where recipes were passed down from grandmothers: sumac musakhan, maqluba and mansaf. We chose to preserve this heritage and serve it with care.
We source from local olive and vegetable farmers and cook slowly, with respect for flavour. Every dish is an invitation to a Palestinian table.
